The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is hosting a photo contest for those who capture the beauty of Irons Oaks, the nature center at Western Avenue and Vollmer Road.
Walk the paths, discover the diverse wildlife and habitats or the challenge of the ropes course. Photographers will find much to photograph across the nearly 40 acres of grounds that are open from sunrise to sunset.
Submit your beautiful photos in digital form by Oct. 31 to be part of the contest. Each photographer can submit up to three images. By submitting the photo, the park district is given the right to use the image in print or digital form.
The contest winner will receive a framed photo donated by The Great Frame Up in Homewood. All others will be posted on the Irons Oaks website.
