The first-ever Jingle Jog 5K will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at Theater on the Lake, 2401 North Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, offering walkers and runners of all fitness levels a race experience with breathtaking views of the city of Chicago’s skyline and lakefront.
The Jingle Jog 5K will benefit Glenwood Academy, a private residential education community that works to eradicate poverty, social injustice and inequality for its students.
Registration is now open for the Jingle Jog 5K by visiting www.jinglejog5k.org. At this website, supporters can sign up for the race or donate to a registered participant. Race participation is $45 for adults and $20 for the Kid’s Dash.
All participants will receive a goodie bag, two complimentary brunch cocktails, as well as access to a complimentary hotdog bar with all the trimmings, provided by Vienna Beef. There will also be a visit from Santa Claus, hot chocolate, Christmas carols, and much more.
