Glenwood Academy hosts Jingle Jog fundraiser in Chicago

The first-ever Jingle Jog 5K will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at Theater on the Lake, 2401 North Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, offering walkers and runners of all fitness levels a race experience with breathtaking views of the city of Chicago’s skyline and lakefront.

The Jingle Jog 5K will benefit Glenwood Academy, a private residential education community that works to eradicate poverty, social injustice and inequality for its students.

Registration is now open for the Jingle Jog 5K by visiting www.jinglejog5k.org. At this website, supporters can sign up for the race or donate to a registered participant. Race participation is $45 for adults and $20 for the Kid’s Dash.
All participants will receive a goodie bag, two complimentary brunch cocktails, as well as access to a complimentary hotdog bar with all the trimmings, provided by Vienna Beef. There will also be a visit from Santa Claus, hot chocolate, Christmas carols, and much more.
“We are so excited for the Jingle Jog 5K, and hope that all of Chicagoland will come out to support the incredible students and families of Glenwood Academy,” said Mary Hollie, President and CEO of Glenwood Academy. “It is through the support of the community that we are able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our future generations. The Jingle Jog 5K is sure to get people into the holiday spirit, knowing that they are giving back to others.”

The Jingle Jog 5K is supported by Chicago Sport and Social Club, Reign Total Body Fuel, Epstein, Becker & Green and Boxed Water.
