Walkers will help the Cancer Support Center meet its $90,000 goal to help fund free programs for those living with a cancer diagnosis and their loved ones.

In keeping with the theme of being a superhero for their support, walkers are encouraged to come in costume to represent their favorite superhero. Walkers can choose a one-mile or three-mile route starting from the center at 2028 Elm Road in Homewood.

Registration for the Fall Walk of Hope starts at 8 a.m. Early registration is at www.cancersupportcenter.org. Click the Fall Walk of Hope logo to register online. Registration is $30 for walkers 15 and older or $15 for children between the ages of 5 and 14. Children under 5 are free.
