Children’s musical presented by H-F Theater students Sept. 26, 27 and 28

“The Last Stop on Market Street,” a children’s musical, will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Sept. 26 and 27, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Mall Auditorium of Homewood-Flossmoor High School.
 

“The Last Stop on Market Street,” a children’s musical, will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Sept. 26 and 27, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Mall Auditorium of Homewood-Flossmoor High School.
 
Theater students will perform this uplifting musical based on an award-winning book. It tells the story of a 6-year-old boy who goes on a bus trip through the city with his grandmother. The boy expands his horizons on the trip, meeting many different people and discovering the beauty in the everyday.
 
Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens.
 
Performers are Nate Jones as the 6-year-old and Ariel Davis as his grandmother.
 
Fellow cast members are Charles Austin, Caroline Bivens, Kobe Gosha, Breanne LeBlanc, Ariel Mitchell, Aaron Newman, Noelle Oh, Jeremiah Ryan and Jada Seaton.
 
H-F Fine Arts teacher J.R. Willard-Rose is the director with assistance from Anne Calderon, Christopher Kelley and Jenna Odom. The assistant student director is Ally Ryan and production assistants are Morgan Barber, Bill Colton and Ellie Wojcikowski.
