Three people were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries Friday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Governors Highway and 183rd Street in Homewood.
According to Homewood police, the collision occurred at about 4:30 p.m. and involved two cars and a Kurtz ambulance.
Two paramedics and a patient in the ambulance were injured.
Homewood police officers and fire department paramedics responded to the scene.
Citations are pending, police said.
