The team earned a spot in the state bracket by winning both the Sub State Tournament in River Forest and their own District 6 tournament in Chicago Heights.

The team earned a spot in the state bracket by winning both the Sub State Tournament in River Forest and their own District 6 tournament in Chicago Heights.
After a series of exciting games in that series, Homewood Heights defeated Bradley Bourbonnais in the title game to advance to the Sub State Tournament.
Team manager Coach Brian Andreatta’s staff led this group of players through some competitive games, including defeating the Ridge Beverly Celtics who had eliminated them last season in the state tournament.

This also means that Homewood Heights is ranked in the top eight teams in the state of Illinois out of a field of over 130 teams.
