Time to make a splash!
On Saturday, June 1, the Lions Club Pool will officially open for the season. The Millennium Park Splash Pad opens Memorial Day, May 27, weather permitting.
Individual pool passes are $125 for residents and $156 for non-residents. Resident family passes are available for two at $175, three at $200 and for four at $225. Each additional swimmer is $25. The resident senior citizen fee is $65. Non-residents pay additional fees.
Pool passes are available at park district facilities.
All persons listed on the pool membership need to verify residence. Adults should bring a photo ID and a current utility bill, or home closing documents or a rental contract/lease agreement. For parents including their kids, proof of residency can be a 1040 tax return (top half), a birth certificate or custody papers.
Photo ID pictures will be taken at Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave. or at Lions Club Pool, 1041 Ridge Road, Homewood.
Special caregiver passes for persons 18 and older are available for those attending to children. Pass purchases must be made by an adult member of the resident family and the childcare provider must be present at that time. The pass is only valid when performing childcare services.
Residents have free access to the Splash Pad but need to verify residency by showing a driver’s license, utility bill or tax bill.
Residents with 2019 pool passes, or H-F Racquet & Fitness Club photo ID, can have a Splash Pad sticker placed on the back of the ID. Stickers are available at the racquet club, Irwin Center or Goldberg Center.
Non-residents are welcome at the Splash Pad. The fee is $5 per child, per session.
