The old bank branch building on Governors Highway as seen on Aug. 22. By Sunday, Aug. 26, the building was almost completely gone. In its place will be a new dental health center developed by the Center for Dental Excellence. (Photos by Eric Crump/H-F Chronicle) Chain link fence has been installed around the former bank building on the northwest corner of Halsted and 175th Street. Demolition is expected to begin soon. The site will then be used for Chick-fil-A and Panera restaurants.
