Registration open for kids summer camps at Homewood Science Center

Four summer science camp programs for elementary, middle and junior high students are being organized by the Homewood Science Center. Science Minors Club is designed for students in second through fifth grades. The week-long program from 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 11 through 15, offers early, hands-on exposure to science activities that builds curiosity and encourages teamwork. Topics cover science and engineering. There is a $100 fee for this program, which is supported by the Museum of Science and Industry.   Summer of Code for beginners is offered in two five-week sessions . . .
