Enjoyment at Lions Pool is months away, but the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District has pool passes on sale at reduced rates.

The specially priced passes are: Residents — $195 for a family; $109 for an individual and $55 for seniors 60 years and older. Non-resident fees are $244 for a family; $136 for an individual and $136 for seniors 60 years and older.

The rates after May 1 will be: Residents — $215 for a family; $129 for an individual and $65 for seniors 60 years and older. The non-resident fees are $269 for a family; $161 for an individual and $161 for seniors 60 years and older.

Pool passes can be purchased at park facilities. All persons on the pool membership need to verify residency. If registration for park programs has been made in the past six months, there is no need to register again. Persons can call the park district for a check on status.

Proof of residency for adults can be a photo ID, a current utility bill, home closing papers or rental contract/lease agreement. To verify a child’s status, use an IRS form 1040 tax return (top half), a birth certificate or custody papers.

Photos for park district IDs are taken at the Irwin Center.

For additional information, call the park district office at 708-957-0300, or visit the park district website at hfparks.com.
