Staff at the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District’s Racquet & Fitness Club will welcome the community to its open house from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11.
There is no set program. The community is welcome to watch or join in activities, including small group training demonstrations, a group fitness class, the Pilates studio or tennis courts, or take a swim.
A raffle ticket will be given to everyone who attends to win prizes throughout the day.
During the open house, there is an in-person membership special for those who join at with a prepaid annual or monthly contract level pay only an $11 enrollment fee. Also, the small group training open house special rate will be 45 percent off the $59 members rate and $89 for non-members.
The club, at 2920 W. 183rd St. in Homewood, is a full service facility with a 12,000-square-foot fitness center, a four-lane lap pool, 10 indoor courts, a Pilates center and areas for small group training classes. Members can take advantage of amenities, including childcare, whirlpool, steam rooms and towel service. Personal training and Pilates personal training is available.
