An East Hazel Crest man was arrested Sunday night in connection with the shooting death of a railway security guard on Nov. 26 in Harvey.
Rashad Williams, 24, was arrested by Harvey police about 9 p.m. in Chicago Heights, according to ABC7 News. Williams reportedly is a convicted felon with a prior record of weapons violations. At a news conference, Harvey Deputy Police Chief Gregory Thomas thanked members of the public for providing tips that led to Sunday's arrest.
