The Illinois State Board of Education has announced that Homewood-Flossmoor High School District 233 is of 28 districts that will share a $50 million grant to help reduce local property taxes. The district expects to receive $1.96 million, which it must use to provide property tax relief.

Lindstrom returning to H-F District 233 school board
Andrew Lindstrom, who served seven years on the District 233 school board before his employer forced his resignation, will again take a seat on the board. He was selected from four finalists who interviewed for the vacant school board position during a special meeting of the board on Thursday, July 14.
