The grand re-opening of Homewood’s Dairy Queen is coming. Kelly Welsh, manager of the store, said she expects to announce the re-opening in four to six weeks after extensive damage was done to the building in a car accident July 17.

Crowds come out for Dairy Queen’s opening day
It didn’t matter that the temperature hovered around 40 degrees, or that the sun didn’t shine. It was opening day at Homewood’s Dairy Queen on Thursday and people lined up for their favorite ice cream treats.
