The Light of Truth: Richard Hunt’s Monument to Ida B. Wells Screening
Join us for the Flossmoor Art Council’s inaugural event! Flossmoor is a vibrant community deeply rooted in the arts—from the award-winning theater productions at HF High School to our renowned public art sculpture garden. Art is at the heart of our town, with notable sculptures like Richard Hunt’s “Uplifted” gracing our Leavitt Park.
In celebration of this rich artistic legacy, we’re proud to present a screening of The Light of Truth: Richard Hunt’s Monument to Ida B. Wells. This event is made possible by a generous donation from Slang Music Group.
Bring the whole family for an educational and inspiring evening! Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. This event is free and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $10. You can get your free tickets at https://www.flossmoorartcouncil.org/Events
We look forward to seeing you there!
