Election 2025 planning

Elections should be easy to participate in. Local democracy should not be a mystery. The Chronicle’s job is to help voters learn what they need to know to get involved.

We want to know what you want us to do to make the April 2025 election work well for the people of our community. We hope you’ll go to the polls in greater numbers than ever and feel informed and ready to mark your ballot.

The main purpose of this feedback form is to help us plan for election coverage and activities. We will not quote from responses without first checking with you, so if you’re open to having your questions and ideas included in election stories or columns, be sure to include your name and email address.

What issues would you like candidates for village, school, library and park boards to address as they campaign? Are there specific questions you would like the Chronicle to ask candidates?
What forms do you want election coverage to take? In the past we've done candidate profiles, video interviews, news stories on League of Women Voters forums. Which of those help most? What else would you like to see?
What questions do you have about how and where to vote, how to get registered, etc.?
Which local race(s) are you most interested in?
