Homewood native, Homewood-Flossmoor High School graduate and childhood White Sox fan Jason Benetti is leaving the Chicago baseball club’s broadcast booth for the division rival Detroit Tigers. Homewood-Flossmoor High School unified soccer team was welcomed home Saturday afternoon, Nov. 4, after successfully defending their state championship. H-F Principal Clinton Alexander and board member Pamela Jackson were among the crowd cheering the team as the Flossmoor Fire Department vehicles escorted the team bus to the North Building.
