New frozen custard shop coming to Homewood in 2018

Halsted Street’s food options will make a swap next year, exchanging spicy for sweet. Homewood Mayor Richard Hofeld announced at the Dec. 12 board of trustees meeting that Freddie’s Frozen Custard will be replacing Taco Bell at 17601 Halsted St.

H-F passes 2017 levy with one ‘no’ vote
