Flossmoor District 161 will begin registration from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, for the 2026-27 school year kindergarten class.

Kindergarten registration is for children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2026.

Parents can register their child March 3 at their nearest school. Parents should bring the child’s official birth certificate that displays the county’s raised seal, along with proof of residency in District 161. If registration will be done by a guardian or person with custody, documentation may be required.

Information about the district’s KinderPrep Summer Program will be shared at the time of registration.

For parents who cannot make the March 3 day, registration can be done by appointment. Additional registration dates can be found on the District 161 website at www.sd161.org.
