Volunteers will be collecting food donations from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at St. John Neumann Parish, 17951 Dixie Highway in Homewood. Donations benefit the Catholic Charities food pantry.

The pantry is most in need of canned fruit; canned chicken, tuna or salmon; canned ravioli, peanut butter, pasta, canned pasta sauce, canned corn, pinto and kidney beans, dry cereal, chicken noodle or cream of mushroom soup.

Monetary donations will be accepted. Checks can be made payable to Catholic Charities with St. Irenaeus pantry in the memo line.
