Pride Fest 2025 is June 20 at Irwin Park in Homewood

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District joins with the Villages of Homewood and Flossmoor to host Pride Fest starting at 5 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Irwin Park, 18120 Highland Ave. in Homewood.

This third annual event marks June as Pride Month and celebrates the spirit of diversity and inclusion.

Guests can enjoy food and beverages from vendors starting at 5 p.m. Master of Ceremonies Queen Sasha Love will introduce the Bel Canto Community Choir entertaining at the park’s bandshell. 

At 7 p.m., The Divas, Chicago’s newest all-female-fronted pop cover group takes the stage. The band showcases powerhouse vocals, infectious choreography and a captivating stage presence. They will be playing hits from popular female artists, including Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Cher and more.

Admission to Pride Fest is free. Participants are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.  Food, beverages and alcohol will be available for purchase from vendors; outside alcohol is prohibited.
