Homewood is hosting a Black Friday blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 29 at the fire house, 17950 Dixie Highway. 

Donors must be at least 16 years old, be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds. Bring your ID with you. It is recommended that your last food intake be at least two hours before you donate.

The holidays are traditionally a time of low blood supply, but a time of high blood demand. Every pint donated could save someone’s life.
