The Village of Homewood announced on Tuesday, Jan. 2, the creation of the Citizen Civics Academy program for Homewood residents and business owners.
The six-week initiative is designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the various facets of municipal operations. Classes will occur every Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 13 through April 17.
Applications will be accepted until Feb. 21 or until the maximum number of participants is reached.
