The fun will begin at 5 p.m. with Homewood Science Center’s Polar Express Party and the opening of an outdoor market on Martin Avenue south of Ridge Road. The event will continue until 9 p.m., with family activities and holiday shopping throughout the evening. The year, there will be a second holiday event in Homewood on Dec. 16.
