Residents of Homewood-Flossmoor High School District 233 have until Friday, July 8, to file a letter of interest to apply for the vacant school board position.
Dave Mayer, who had served 11 years on the board, resigned June 22 after the board relieved Principal Ryan Pitcock of his position.
