Lou Malnati’s, one of the Chicago area’s best-known purveyors of deep dish pizza, may be coming to Flossmoor.
Company officials are seeking permission to open a carryout location at 3315 Vollmer Road, at the former Flavor restaurant site in Flossmoor Commons.
Scott Bugner, Flossmoor’s inspectional services administrator, said Wednesday that Malnati’s is asking for a special use permit that allows a carryout restaurant in a B-3 zoning district.
