Temple Anshe Sholom is hosting a musical tribute on March 13 dedicated to the memory of cantor Jenny Izenstark, a former Homewood resident.

The 90-minute program, featuring cantors Deborah Bard, Rebecca Garfein, Aviva Katzman and Alberto Mizrahi, will be a collection of popular and liturgical music celebrating Izenstark’s life. She cantored at the Olympia Fields temple from 1993 through 1998. She died in November 2014.

The 2 p.m. program will be at the temple, 20820 Western Ave., Olympia Fields. A kosher dessert reception will follow the program.  Registrations, requested by March 8, are being accepted by temple staff at 708-748-6010.
