Homewood-Flossmoor High School student Lucy Sloan will be the first featured student artist at Loulou Belle, the new art and vintage good shop at 2049 Ridge Road in Homewood. 

A reception marking the opening of Sloan’s exhibit will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at the shop.

Six of Sloan’s works, including oil paintings, a water color and a color pencil drawing, are on display. The exhibit is the first of a series of student art exhibits proprietors Lisa Komorowski and Dodi Wians plan to host.
