Voters can hear from the candidates running for local office at three Homewood-Flossmoor Area League of Women Voters candidate forums.
Municipal elections are April 7.
The six candidates running for the three open seats for Flossmoor School District 161 will be heard during a Thursday, Feb. 26, forum from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Parker Junior High, 2810 School Street.
Flossmoor Village trustee candidates will be featured at a 2 to 4 p.m. forum on Sunday, March 1, at the Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave.
There are four candidates for three open seats.
Homewood-Flossmoor High School has eight candidates running for four seats. The H-F candidate forum will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, in Room E-1 at the high school, 999 S. Kedzie Ave., Flossmoor.
Village board and school board elections in Homewood are uncontested. The sole commissioner seat at stake in the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is also uncontested.
