Five ensembles will give summer programs at Olympia Fields Country Club for the Cocktails and Concerts Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra Summer 2026 concert series in June, July and August.
Each show begins with pre-concert beverage and appetizers starting at 6 p.m. followed by the performances at 6:30 p.m.
The series opens June 24 with “A Burst of Color” featuring an all-brass quintet led by IPO principal trumpet Jhoan Garcia.
The July 8 program is “Jazzed @OFCC” with the energy and soul of live jazz.
The July 22 program, “Stringed Musicals,” features Broadway reimagined featuring IPO principal second violinist Linda Veleckis leading a string quartet through some of the biggest musicals.
On Aug. 6, “Oursa Duo-Viola and Cello” features Oursa and its world-class artistry.
The final concert Aug. 20 is “The Ostrega Uhi Project” featuring a violin and piano combo that bends classical chamber music with popular repertoire.
Individual tickets are $40, or tickets can be purchased as a package. The summer program is sponsored by Janet and Craig Duchossois with support from the Illinois Arts Council.
