The House on Mango Street Ballet. Ballet 5:8 will perform a ballet version of “The House on Mango Street” by Sandra Cisneros at 3 p.m. in the Nathan Manilow Theater at Freedom Hall in Park Forest. It’s a coming-of-age story about living between two worlds: American and Mexican, and that familiar feeling of being “not enough” of either one. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
