D’s cookies Dough Company transitions to delivery, other stores after closing its Flossmoor retail location

D’s Cookie Dough Company announced on their Facebook Jan. 11 that they will be closing their retail business in Flossmoor but would continue as a frozen cookie dough manufacturer.

Owners D.K. and Staci Stout opened the retail store in April 2024. They plan to sell their classic baked cookies at Dunning’s Market which include their chocolate chip, peanut butter, and sugar cookies.

They will also continue to sell their cookies at the County Fair Foods, and online through Market Wagon for delivery.

Dunning’s will continue to sell its own cookies alongside D’s Cookies.

The post also highlights the 57,000 plus units of cookies and other retail items sold since being in business along with cookies being donated to schools, organizations, and other various charitable causes for the community.

“Now people know them so it’s kind of easy for us to do as an add-on,” owner of Dunning’s Market Maureen Mader said. “Plus, they’ve built up a nice customer base in the community and people love their cookies and they miss them and they want their cookies.”

Mader said if people have a favorite D’s cookie to let Dunning’s know so they can let the Stouts know what customers are interested in.
