A beloved father, son, and friend, Ariel Angelo Perez passed peacefully on December 27, 2025. Ariel was born in Chicago on December 9, 1989. He relocated to Llano, Texas in the summer of 2023, along with his life partner Ashley Machado and their children: Arielle, Vincent, and little Isabel. He was known for his great personality, charisma, and bad dad jokes. He loved his family and friends greatly, and his church, whom he considered his extended family. And they all loved him back.

Ariel is survived by Ashley and their children, and his parents, Iris (Sanchez) Abney and Alex Perez; his stepmother Katrina (Powell) Perez; his siblings Nicole Perez, Marcelino Rodriguez, Max Perez, and Isaac Perez; and his step-sister Nicole Rodriguez and step-brother Michael Rodriguez.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church, 18645 Dixie Highway, Homewood, Illinois.
