Read, Rock, n’ Rhyme. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host story time for kids aged birth to 7 years old. Kids will be able to dance, shake and wiggle as we share stories, songs, rhymes, and more from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the Rauch Reading Room. Register here.

Read, Play, & Grow!: A Storytime for Babies and Toddlers. Meet in the Helen Wilson Meeting Room at Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., from 10:30 to 11 a.m. for fun activities that help develop early literacy skills for babies and toddlers. Register here.

Homeschoolers Study Group. Homeschool teens can meet in The Fort at Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, for a study session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Register here.

Project Sew. From 4:30 to 6 p.m. through March 11 at Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave. in Homewood, review the sewing basics and build more confidence learning a variety of stiches. Progress to advanced projects such as making your own stuffed toys, pillows and fobs. For anyone age 8 through 12. A Love-ish Conversation: Romance, Reality, and Everything in Between. Beyond the Book, 18063 Dixie Highway, will host a fireside-style experience from 6:30 to 9 p.m. with Christal Luster and Mike Speaks will explore the many dimensions of modern relationships, romance, personal growth, communication, and the realities that shape love today. Register here.

1619: The Journey of a People, The Musical. A musical performance and a history lesson by Ted Williams III will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Helen Wilson Meeting Room at Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave. The performance commemorates the struggles, recognizes the heroes and critically analyzes the American journey towards freedom and equality. More information.
