Three new physicians join Specialty Physicians of Illinois in Olympia Fields

Three new physicians are now part of Specialty Physicians of Illinois and are accepting new patients at their offices on the Franciscan Health Olympia Fields campus.

Internal medicine physician Joseph Guan, board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist and cardiologist Ahmed Hussein and board-certified oncologist and breast surgeon George Salti are all now practicing with SPI.

Guan attended medical school at Rush University Medical College in Chicago and completed his residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County as well as Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. His clinical interests include but are not limited to hypertension, diabetes and osteoarthritis.

He is accepting new patients at his office at 3700 W. 203rd St., Suite 301, on the Franciscan Health Olympia Fields campus. For more information and to schedule an appointment, call 708-679-2850.

Hussein attended medical school at the University of Liverpool in Liverpool, England, and completed his residency at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. He completed his fellowship at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. His clinical interests include but are not limited to atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias, pacemaker or defibrillator implantation or replacement and electrophysiology studies/ablation.

He is accepting new patients at his office at 3800 W. 203rd St., Suite 201 on the Franciscan Health Olympia Fields campus. For more information and to schedule an appointment, call 708-852-2551.

Salti attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.

Salti is certified by the American Board of Surgery. His clinical interests include breast cancer diagnosis, breast cancer surgery and oncology surgery.
