Chevrolet of Homewood is in the midst of its 11th Annual Homewood Chevy Cares Car Giveaway Contest, which culminates in the presentation of a free new car to the selected recipient on Christmas Eve.

Steve Phillipos, president of the dealership, understands that for some people, a car can be life changing and he is hopeful that this contest can help at least one deserving individual or family in need as it has been doing for the past 10 years.

The deadline is Monday, Dec. 8, to submit an essay explaining how a new Chevrolet will change your life or the life of someone else. To enter, visit homewoodchevycares.com. 

On Dec. 12, the top five finalists will be chosen by the Chevrolet of Homewood staff. Those selected will then move on to the final round and the winner will be notified on Dec. 19.
