Volunteers at St. John Neumann Church, 17951 Dixie Highway in Homewood, are sponsoring a food drive from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, in the church parking lot.

The food collected will be delivered to a Catholic Charities regional distribution site to help feed needy families. 

Staples, such as pasta and pasta sauces, soups, canned vegetables, cereals, rice, dried fruit, canned Vienna sausage or hams, rice sides, potato sides, coffee, condiments, such as ketchup and salad dressing, seasonings, snacks, canned olives, nuts and seeds.

Monetary donations will also be accepted by the volunteers.
