PSC starts evening division for nursing

If you’re thinking about a career in nursing but scheduling is an issue, Prairie State College’s evening division may be the solution.

PSC opened an evening division for nursing this fall semester and all 22 slots were filled. The evening option is designed to give students greater flexibility. PSC is offering the evening division in response to students’ needs.

With the new evening cohort, the nursing program’s capacity has increased by 25%. Now 110 students are accepted into each graduating class, according to PSC Director of Nursing Antigone Kokalias.

Registration for the spring semester starts Monday, Oct. 27. Details are at prairiestate.edu.
