County officials announced Oct. 10 that the Cook County Homeowner Relief Fund has expanded its eligibility requirements and extended its deadline to Oct. 31.
The $15 million program will assist homeowners who have experienced a substantial increase in property taxes in recent years. Selected recipients will receive $1,000 in one-time assistance.
