The H-F Racquet & Fitness Club asks guests to take a break Thursday and Friday, Oct. 2 and 3. The club will close its Fitness Center as staff works on deliveries of new equipment.

The center will reopen on Saturday, Oct. 4, and staff will help guests acclimate to the new machines available to them.

The H-F Park District purchased treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent cross trainer and recumbent cycle, upright cycle, stair climber, abdominal/back extension, functional trainer, hack squat machine, power sled, decline bench, utility bench and multi-angle bench.

The park district will be selling off most of its old equipment. Bids will be accepted through Tuesday, Sept. 30. The form is available on its website.
