Friday is homecoming at Homewood-Flossmoor High School and administrators have put new rules in place for the safety and enjoyment of those attending football games.
The changes were necessitated after disruptions at the Vikings first game Aug. 29.
Superintendent Jennifer Norrell said the new rules for the game Friday against Naperville North, were designed with input from students, administrators and Flossmoor police.
Tickets will now be available through the online service GoFan.
Valid IDs will be viewed at the gate before fans are allowed in. Alumni ages 21 and younger must register by Wednesday, Sept. 17, for alumni verification and purchase of an H-F alumni ticket. H-F seniors can bring a guest to the game, but their request must be approved by a dean.
Junior high students from Parker Junior High or James Hart School are welcome to attend, but their attendance must be registered and they must attend with a parent/guardian who will expect the student to be with them throughout the game.
