Mitchell, age 88, U.S. Army veteran, beloved husband of 67 years of Mary Kay Mitchell: loving father of George, Mary (Duane) Nichols, Gregory, Michael and Charles Mitchell; dear grandfather of Maggie (Tom), Michaela (Dan), Michael (Selena), Jeremy, Samantha, Nicole, Nicholas, Daniel (Isabela), Canyon and Brooks; cherished great grandfather of Roman and Mitchell. 

George was a proud owner of Mitchell’s Candies and Ice Cream Store in Homewood.
