As you walk into the new Beyond Borders Café at 1036 Sterling Ave. in downtown Flossmoor, you’re greeted to a cozy environment with warm colors and antique items that transport you through time.
Owners Jennifer and Christopher Zarozny opened the doors and welcomed the community to the café on Saturday, Aug. 9. About 30 people were on hand, including Mayor Michelle Nelson and village trustees, family and friends.
