Flossmoor Sculpture Tour. The tour will be a chance to learn about art in Leavitt Park, including the new installation, “Ten Thousand Ripples/Emerging Buddhas.” The tour will start at 6 p.m. at Richard Hunt’s “Uplifted” at the corner of Leavitt Avenue and Park Drive. (The tour originally was scheduled for July 30 but was moved because of the weather.)

Martin Square Block Party. The party from 6 to 10 p.m. on Martin Avenue between Ridge and Chestnut Roads will include music, food and community vibes. DJ Nate Olson from All Sing Karaoke will be spinning songs.

Water Balloon Fight. As the Summer Reading Program comes to and end, celebrate summer with a water balloon fight from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway.
