Homewood police investigating a call of shots fired found shell casings in the 1300 block of Olive Road on Monday, July 21.

Police officers responding to a report of shots fired around 5:45 p.m. reported locating several spent shell casings near the location. Police reported the offender or offenders fled the scene prior to officers arriving.   

Police found one residence in the area sustained damage from one of the rounds.
