Juneteenth Parade and Block Party. You Matter 2 will present the annual Juneteenth parade on June 19. The parade will step off at 10 a.m. from Western Avenue School and will end at Parker Junior High. It will be followed by a block party in the Parker Junior High parking lot until 2 p.m. as H-F celebrates freedom, diversity and Black culture.

Juneteenth Craft. Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., will host Juneteenth-themed crafts all day.

Glenwood Juneteenth Celebration. The village will host a ceremony at 3 p.m. at the Underground Railroad Memorial Park at the corner of Main and Young streets. From 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. the festival will take place at the John H. Blakey Center, 1 N. Rebecca St. The Jesse White Tumblers and the Studio 907 Dance Team are expected to perform. There will be an art expo and vendors.
