Flossmoor Road Viaduct Closure. On Tuesday, June 17, the Flossmoor Road viaduct will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions from 9 a.m. until about noon due to tree work and painting in the viaduct tunnel. Wiggle & Giggle Rhymes. An interactive program for kids age 2 to 3 from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. at Irwin Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave. in Homewood. The event involves a combination of spoken rhymes and hand motions in a playful learning environment. Participants will go home with their own finger play and rhyme time workbook. The fee is $6.
