Families brought their young ones for an educational fun time at the Homewood Public Works from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 17.
The open house offered various stations for kids to explore, including a dress-up section. Kids were able to step into the shoes of workers by trying on vests, safety caps and goggles.
