Trustees Joni Bradley-Scott and Brian Driscoll were honored for their time and dedication on the Flossmoor Village Board at the April 21 board meeting.
Bradley-Scott challenged Nelson but lost in her bid for mayor and Driscoll lost his bid for a third term on the board.
The village board approved resolutions honoring them, and Mayor Michelle Nelson thanked them for their time working with the village and in the community.

Bradley-Scott started her service with the village as village clerk in 2017, was appointed a trustee in 2019 and won election to the board in 2021.
She is a real estate agent with Keller Williams Preferred Realty. Nelson said Bradley-Scott’s experience in real estate and her communication skills were valuable in the input on village programs and interactions with village workers.
Nelson commended Bradley-Scott for her efforts to increase inclusivity in village policies and operations.
Bradley-Scott is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and works with the Monarch Cities chapter of Jack and Jill, an African American leadership organization.

Driscoll is an attorney with 20 years experience as a certified municipal hearing officer.
Nelson said Driscoll’s experience in law and government navigating complex issues brought an invaluable perspective to the village board.
Driscoll’s resolution also outlined how he advocated for improvements in all of Flossmoor’s municipal departments while being fiscally responsible.
He volunteers his time with PADS (Public Actions to Deliver Shelter), the Marian Council of Knights of Columbus and the Flossmoor Veterans Memorial Committee.
