The National Junior Honor Society at James Hart School held an induction ceremony Monday, April 7, for 38 new members.
The National Junior Honor Society recognizes and fosters academic achievement while developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy. These students were chosen for their service to others, leadership, scholarship, citizenship, and character.
Students with an overall G.P.A. of 3.75 after the second trimester of seventh grade receive invitations to apply for membership.
Inductees are eighth graders Ian Arseneau, Jaxson DeBoer, Bella Hernandez-Zuno, Nevaeh McFarland, Liam Peterson, Jack VanEtten, McKenzie Weber and Aubree White.
New seventh grade members are Nia Branham, Hanna Bryant, Owen Cook, Riley Curran, Eliana Falk, Eleanor Greep, Peyton Gregory, Joseph Harris, Elizabeth Heyman, Caden Hooks, Liam Kinsella, Rihanat Lawal, Deyani Lawrence, Elliot Leachy, Kai McCormick.
